Art Academy: Sculpture I & II are great opportunities for middle school-aged artists (ages 10-14) to discover new ways of making 3-dimensional art. Students will use clay, wood, plaster, and other materials to develop their skills as visual artists, and explore the opportunities of working in 3 dimensions. The classes will emphasize art making, but also the improvement and refinement of art making skills, culminating in an end-of-class exhibition at AVA. No class November 11.
Though Art Academy Sculpture II is meant to build on skills acquired in Sculpture I, there is not pre-requisite for either class.
Students who sign up for 2 or more Art Academy classes at AVA will receive $15 off all Art Academy classes. Please call AVA at 603.448.3117 during normal business hours to receive this discount.
