Basic Drawing (W23)

Instructor: Karl Neubauer

In this class you'll learn to draw what you see, while reinforcing elemental drawing skills such as gesture, contour, perspective. While this is a skills-based course, you'll be encouraged to explore and experiment with a variety of 2D and some 3D media, applying them to different paper and surfaces. Along with the basics, you'll use some tricks of composition and abstraction to help to develop your “voice” or unique style of drawing. This course is designed to enhance every person’s creative practice. Working from a model included. This class meets in-person at AVA. Click here for a class materials list.
