Beginning Figure Drawing (S24)

Thursdays, June 13-Aug 8 (no class July 4) | 6-8:30 pm

Instructor: Riley Adams

This class is a traditional yet a novel approach to figure drawing. It's for beginners to learn new skills, for the more intermediate to expand existing skills interested in drawing the human figure­. A live model will be present at every session. Be prepared to arrive with questions, open minds, curiosity, and a commitment to draw, to learn and to have fun!

Riley Adams has been a professional artist since high school when she began drawing caricatures, portraits, and has been a masters level art educator for 10 years. Their work consists primarily of figure studies and organic abstract patterns. Riley is new to the upper valley having studies at the Memphis College of art and design, and shown their work in the Midsouth. They are eager and excited to become a part of the upper valley artist community. During the school year Riley teaches high school students in visual arts such as Drawing, Painting, 2D design and Sculpture. You can view their current work on Instagram @r.taylor_art_
