Discover the art of blacksmithing and craft your own campfire essentials. Forge a variety of tools including a fire poker, meat flipper, roasting fork, spatula and beer spike. With a plethora of styles at your disposal, the creative possibilities are boundless. Unleash your inner blacksmith and create functional works of art just in time for crisp autumn air.  An excellent class for couples or parents & teens; beginners are welcome. 

$85 Materials fee applied at check-out.

 

Mike Platt has over 40 years’ experience forging metal in the fire as a blacksmith, farrier, and more recently as a jeweler and sculptor. He is passionate about teaching kids and adults the art and tradition of blacksmithing at Iron Mike's Forge in Easton, New Hampshire as well as group classes at The Littleton Studio School and AVA Gallery and Art Center   Additionally, Mike holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and specializes in the design and development of jet and rocket engines.
