Instructor: Maggie Minor

This one-day workshop will introduce you to non-adhesive book binding structures. You'll learn about book binding tools and techniques through hands-on instruction. The workshop will cover how to prepare sections, create punching guides, punch, sew, and finish books. You'll learn how to sew a single pamphlet book, a soft cover link stitch, and a French web, as well as how to make a make a paper cover and a 4-flap paper wrapper. You'll leave the day with a minimum of 3 completed books and basic book binding skills.

Maggie Minor was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She received her MFA in Book Arts from The University of Alabama in 2020 and a BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017.
