Try your hand at Blackletter, a dramatic bold font also known as Old English and Gothic Script. Blackletter was used throughout Western Europe from about 1150 AD to circa 1700. Fraktur font will be the primary focus. Tools specific to writing in Blackletter will be used with an emphasis on pen angle techniques and proportions specific to Fraktur letterforms.
