Come join the Dance for a day! Try the reflective art of Japanese Calligraphy, or Shodou, and learn the meditative movement of the brush. We will begin with investigating the individual strokes that form the shapes and images of the art, and then use these to write some kanji (words) for universal concepts. You will pick a word that speaks to your heart and dance with it in an exploration of image and expression, taking home a scroll or plaque of your work that can be displayed.
