This is a course for anyone who has ever seen a mural or installation and wondered, ‘where would I begin?’ It will allow artists to go beyond the fundamentals of acrylic painting and learn to render a visual concept on a large scale and potentially a public space. This is a great class for painters looking to move their designs from a smaller easel to a grand platform.

Erika McCormick grew up in Strafford, Vermont and graduated with a BFA in Studio Arts and a minor in Art History from Johnson State College. After college she spent a number of years traveling around the country and the world, creating and learning. After returning to Vermont, she focused her intentions on murals, teaching, and anything that brings her closer to the beautiful world of art. Though paint is her preferred medium, she encourages her students to experiment with all types of visual expression.
