for 9-12 year-olds: Harness the power of gravity and the lightness of air. Campers will overcome the forces of friction and wind resistance when they design and build vehicles from reused and recyclable materials.  They will test and innovate to make their creations go faster and farther. Finally, they'll get an introduction to aerodynamics, discovering how they can use the forces of gravity and thrust to make their creations fly. But as always, aesthetics rule. The coolest looking cars and planes are always winners!

• Drop off for morning camps is between 8:30 and 9 AM.
• Drop off for afternoon camps is between 12:45 and 1 PM.
• Campers who enroll in both morning and afternoon camps may stay for the 12-1 PM lunch period (campers must provide their own lunch).
• Campers are encouraged to bring a snack and water bottle to camp. AVA camps are nut-free.
