This oil painting class will focus on simplifying the landscape through the use of a limited palette and the organization of shapes. The limited palette eases the struggle with color and creates overall harmony in the painting. Seeing shapes as opposed to objects, value pattern, and brushwork will all be examined as valuable tools in creating a strong painting. Some experience in drawing necessary.
