Plein Air with Oils (S21-02)

Spend the afternoon outside, while painting the incredible Vermont summer landscape with oils! Bring your energy, curiosity and personal expression to the water and woods of the beautiful grounds of the Montshire Museum. Students are welcome to bring drawing materials as well. Class will start with a short painting demonstration and culminate with supportive critique. Open to all levels. Meg McLean is a painter and children’s illustrator living in the Upper Valley. She is an observational landscape painter, taking for her inspiration the rivers and skies and roads of New England and beyond. She has an MFA in Painting and Drawing from Cranbrook Academy of Art and is a member of the Copley Society of Art, Boston.
