Instructor: Janet Cathey

This camp's focus will be on process, art making, play, and experimentation. Campers will explore how printmaking is similar to and different from painting and drawing. They'll print with all kinds of objects, from fingers to toys to recycled items to objects from nature. They'll make collaborative art and art from our own imaginations, use rollers to make rainbow prints, and learn about collagraphs and trace monotypes. Finally, they'll each build up our their collections of prints and cut up some of our prints to make mixed media art.
