Riding the Watercolor Wheel: Using Color Effectively (W20)
01/17/2020 - 01/31/2020

Instructor: Margaret Dwyer

Do you really know what you’re reaching for when you choose a color of paint to use? Watercolor is an inherently a transparent medium, but there's  a big difference between transparent, translucent, and opaque watercolor paints. This class will explore the variety of paints out there by creating a painting each week that highlights one or two specific colors at a time. Students will bring their own paints but additional color samples will be on hand to try. Understanding how color works will drastically improve your painting knowledge and experience.
