Robert Carsten graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and was a scholar at Academia di Belle Arti in Carrara, Italy. He is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and a contributing writer to the Pastel Journal, The Artist’s Magazine, and Watercolor Magazine.
