Jong-Yoon Kim is associate professor of graphic design at Plymouth State University, Plymouth, New Hampshire. He received his BFA in ceramics from Hong-Ik University, Seoul, Korea and his MFA in graphic design from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. His thesis was on interactive graphic design (designing digital learning spaces). His work includes digital multimedia design projects, such as websites, responsive website design, web animations, and digital video editing. Besides digital works, he enjoys paper sculpture such as pop-up structure and systematic paper structure. Jong-Yoon Kim also put a lot of efforts on traditional letterpress printing and bookbinding. He ran a letterpress printing class and a bookbinding club.
