Instructor: Roger Goldenberg

In this class young artists will explore the use of the color wheel and uncover its secrets. They'll discover the universe of color and how to make the colors that we see around us. Watercolor is like using magic, and campers will learn tricks to make illusions like snowfall, fog, clouds, rain and patterns.

Roger Goldenberg is a sculptor, painter, printmaker and educator. His education includes an MFA: UNCG–Greensboro (1995), a BFA and BS in Geology from UNH(1991, 1981). Prior careers include Geologist, Antarctic Explorer and Researcher, self-employed cabinetmaker and historic restorationist. Goldenberg served on three non-profit volunteer boards: Portsmouth’s Cultural Commission – VP, Portsmouth Music and Art Center, and The Kittery Dance Hall. Roger has taught extensively in community centers, colleges, and public schools. He is listed on the prestigious New Hampshire State Council of the Arts Artist/Teacher Roster.
