This workshop separates value and color into two stages of the painting process. The first step focuses on the underpainting by simplifying your subject with tonal values, making complicated subjects easier to interpret. Step two involves glazing with pure color on top of the underpainting. This class is for all levels of painters. Challenges will be given to more advanced artists. Come experience the magic!

Margaret Dwyer earned her BFA from Sienna Heights University and her MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier. Margaret works in several 2D and 3D mediums (though watercolor is her favorite). Her work has been included in numerous juried national and international exhibitions and has been published in art books and magazines.
