Join AVA's growing group of women who are thrilled to be learning to weld. Students will learn the basics of measuring, cutting, and joining metal with an emphasis on hands-on practice with MIG welder, plasma cutter and oxy-acetylene torch. Experienced welders will continue to expand their comfort level and develop techniques with the goal of completing a personal project. The skills you gain will leave you fired up to work independently in AVA’s Sculptural Studies Building during open studio hours.
