This class will introduce you to woodworking fundamentals as you create beautiful and functional cutting board. You'll begin by selecting pre-milled wood strips to glue. While cutting them down, you will be introduced to safe operation practices and techniques on stationary woodworking machines (table saw, bandsaw, router table, etc.). The class will finish off with palm-sanders, as well as hand sanding and finish applications. No woodworking experience necessary. $20 Materials Fee applied at checkout.

Gabriele Tise is a Furnituremaker and Woodworker in Portsmouth, NH. Gabriele has been working on high end residential custom homes on the New Hampshire Seacoast and Coastal Southern Maine since 2006. Gabriele is self-taught in furniture making and design. When not in the shop, she is probably out on two wheels or hiking in the White Mountains.
